WELCOME TO OUR FAQ PAGE
Below are some commonly asked questions and answers to help you better understand our programs!

What is positive reinforcement?
Positive reinforcement is a training method that rewards desirable behavior in order to encourage their repetition, while ignoring or redirecting undesirable behavior's. Rewards can include treats, praise, or other positive experiences.

Do you only do puppies?
No, dogs of all age are welcome!

Do you do behavioral issues?
Yes! We are here to help you and your dog reach companionship through communication. Often when our dogs are acting out, they are trying to tell us something. Let's figure out what that is together and build companionship.

What do I need to provide if they board?
Up to date vaccines, and food for their stay. We can provide everything else.

Do you offer daycare and boarding without training?
Only with an approved evaluation. To keep everyone safe, all dogs in our care must be able to perform some basic commands and have house manners. We will test this during an evaluation day and speak with you at the end with your boarding/daycare options.

Do you train reactive dogs?
Yes we do! Reactivity programs are customized for each dog. During your free evaluation we will work together to build something that meets the needs for you and your dog.

How do you keep young puppies safe?
We are a small and exclusive business. This means we have the ability to control our environment. Doing this allows us to limit the dog access in the home between cleanings. As well, we have private rooms available for puppies under 4 months where no other dogs or people have access. With proper cleaning procedures and controlled dog access we can ensure our home is just as safe as yours. We do ask that all puppies remain current for their age.

What happens if the training doesn't work?
Success in our programs depends on your commitment—including practicing between sessions. Training isn’t just what happens during our visits; it’s what you consistently do at home.
Remember, you have full access to us between sessions for questions or quick help—we’re here to support you in real time. Communication is key! Without it, we can’t move forward as a team.
Positive reinforcement works best with consistency, teamwork, and an open mind. Our free evaluation is a great first step in building a strong, lasting bond with your dog—and we’re committed to supporting you every step of the way.
